A Little Self-Help (I guess)

I will not be annoyed with the people around me.

I will not be annoyed with the people around me. Which is pretty much my parents these days since I rarely leave the house and don't socialize beyond what the internet provides.

I will be patient when my mum decides to be overly helpful.

I will listen to my dad's meaningless ramblings.

I will listen to my dad's meaningless ramblings even when I could care less about the subject-matter and I can't stand his syntax, diction, and emerging twang because there is a very real possibility that this bout of cancer will kill him and someday I'll miss him.
